COMPANY OVERVIEW

ECM is a comprehensive Land Surveying, Land Planning, Site Design and Environmental firm offering services in land planning design, site design, surveying, natural resource planning, soils and wetland evaluation, as well as preparation of feasibility assessments.  Since 1982 ECM has worked on municipal, residential, commercial and industrial projects throughout New Hampshire and is familiar with the towns and their current regulations.

Utilizing a staff of technical and professional people, ECM‘s philosophy is to provide a multi-disciplined approach to planning and design which leads to development that meets the needs of both the client and the community.

Each of our departments is staffed with professionals who specialize in their fields and are committed to their projects.  Their personal expertise provides ECM with the in-house capabilities required for the comprehensive planning and creative design needed in today’s market.  ECM employs 2 Licensed Land Surveyors, 1 Certified Wetland Scientists, 2 Survey Field Crews.  The office is fully computerized and automated. Projects are designed and drafted on our state of the art CAD computer workstations utilizing AutoCADD and Land Development Desktop release 2004.

SURVEY QUALIFICATIONS

It is this Departments responsibility to research, field verify and prepare base information related to a site.  Research of property boundaries is performed initially by obtaining pertinent deeds and plans through Local, County and State agencies.  This research is analyzed and data is provided to survey crews to use in the field for determining actual site conditions regarding boundary monumentation, topography and soils.  Base plans are then produced for planners and engineers to use for subdivision and site design and related engineering and construction drawings.  The Surveying Department follows up with field layout and construction staking of approved designs and boundary monumentation.  The Surveying Department also provides plans for condominium filings, ALTA surveys and foundation certifications.

Specific Federal and Municipal Survey Experience

Over a 10 year period ECM has performed surveys for the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT).  We performed location of runways, existing safety and electronic equipment throughout the airport as well as performing an overall boundary plan.

Over the last 8 years, ECM has performed over 100+ conservation easement surveys for the USDA / NRCS Wetland Reserve Program.  The surveys comprise over 10,000± acres.  In addition to working for the USDA/NRCS, ECM has performed dozens of easement surveys for land trusts and municipalities.  We are highly capable of performing the work and carry the necessary insurance, including professional liability (errors and omission).  Depending on the project phase, we currently have 1 or 2 survey field crews working daily and are capable of performing surveys on schedule and on budget.
